Micro-dosing Sessions in the Netherlands

Therapeutic support for exploring yourself with greater awareness, sensitivity and curiosity.

Microdosing can sometimes bring you into closer contact with what is already happening within you: your emotions, body, thoughts, patterns and different parts of yourself.

In these 1:1 therapy sessions, we use that increased awareness as an opportunity for deeper exploration and integration. Rather than focusing on the microdose itself, we create space to understand what is emerging and explore what may support meaningful change.

Why Microdosing Can Be Part of the Therapeutic Process?

For some people, working with very small amounts of psilocybin truffles can bring a subtle shift in awareness, making certain emotions, sensations, thoughts or patterns easier to notice. That increased sensitivity can support deeper therapeutic work.

In our sessions, we slow down and become curious about what you are noticing. We may explore what is happening in your body, the emotions that are arising, the parts of you that are showing up, or patterns that become more visible in your relationships and everyday life.

The intention isn’t to force change or make something happen. It’s to create enough awareness and safety to meet what is already there with curiosity and compassion.

What is microdosing?

Microdosing is taking a very small amount of a psychedelic substance, with the intention of experiencing subtle effects more than an intense psychedelic experience.

People practice microdosing for different personal reasons, including curiosity, self-exploration or a desire to become more aware of their inner experience.

However, experiences vary considerably, and research into microdosing is still developing. It is important to approach it with curiosity and care rather than as a guaranteed solution or treatment.

A different way of listening

Microdosing isn’t about finding a quick fix.

Sometimes, it can offer a little more space to notice what is already happening within you.

The therapeutic work begins in that noticing, slowing down, becoming curious, and exploring what you find with compassion.

What We Can Explore Together

Your intention

Understand what is bringing you towards microdosing and what you would like to explore within yourself

Your inner world

Notice thoughts, emotions, patterns and different parts of yourself with greater curiosity and compassion.

Your body & emotions

Bring attention to sensations, feelings and subtle signals that may be difficult to access through words or thinking alone.

Your everyday life

Explore how what you are noticing connects with your relationships, choices, patterns and the way you want to live.

A gentle, holistic approach

My approach brings together Internal Family Systems (IFS), Body-Oriented Psychotherapy, Nonviolent Communication and trauma-informed practice.

Together, these approaches give us different ways of listening to what is happening within you, not only through thoughts and words, but also through your body, emotions, relationships and different parts of yourself.

Rather than telling you what your experience should mean, we create space for you to discover what feels meaningful to you.

The work is adapted to your needs, your pace and where you are in your life.

What happens in a microdosing therapy session?

A microdosing session is a therapy session with support around your microdosing experience. We create a calm, intentional space to slow down, listen inward and explore what becomes more noticeable.

Before your session, I’ll send you a preparation and integration guide with practical suggestions to help you prepare and approach the experience with intention and spaciousness. When we meet, we’ll settle into the space and check in with how you’re arriving, in your body, emotions and life. Together, we’ll explore what you’d like to bring attention to during the session.

After taking the microdose, we give the experience space to unfold. Depending on what emerges, we may work with IFS, body awareness, emotional exploration, drawing or other reflective practices.

You might be invited to slow down and notice a sensation in your body, explore a part that is asking for attention, put something onto paper, or simply stay with an experience for a little longer.

There is no need to make anything happen. I support you in listening to your own experience and trusting your body’s signals.

If a moment feels intense, we can also use simple grounding or sensory practices to help you stay connected and move through it at your own pace.

Towards the end, we slow down and reflect on what feels meaningful from the experience. You might leave with a word, a sentence, an insight or simply a deeper awareness of yourself.

There is nothing you need to achieve, perform or force. The invitation is simply to notice, explore and listen.

What emerges during a microdosing session doesn’t necessarily need to be understood all at once. If you want to keep exploring it, regular therapy sessions can offer space to unpack, process and integrate what you’ve discovered over time.

Microdosing support in the Netherlands

Based in Soest, I offer 1:1 microdosing support both in person and online.

Whether you’re in Utrecht, elsewhere in the Netherlands, or joining microdosing support online, you can have a calm and supportive space to reflect, explore and make sense of your experienc

Is microdosing support right for you?

Microdosing isn’t something everyone needs or that is right for every situation. This work may be worth exploring if you

  • Feel curious about microdosing and self-exploration
  • Want to approach psychedelic work gradually, before considering a deeper experience
  • Have had a psychedelic experience and want space to stay connected with what emerged
  • Want to understand your thoughts, emotions or patterns more deeply
  • Feel that something is asking for your attention and would like a therapeutic space to explore it
  • Are looking for a supportive space to reflect on your experience
  • Want to continue processing and integrating a psychedelic experience through ongoing therapy

Microdosing doesn’t have to be a separate journey. It can be part of a longer therapeutic process, before, after or alongside deeper psychedelic experiences.

A note on microdosing

Microdosing is an emerging area of research, and experiences can vary from person to person. I approach it as a tool for awareness and self-exploration, within a broader therapeutic process, not as a treatment in itself.

MEET ALEJANDRA

I’m Alejandra, a trauma-informed therapist and psychedelic practitioner based in the Netherlands.

My work brings together Internal Family Systems (IFS), Body-Oriented Psychotherapy, relational work and psychedelic support. I believe that meaningful inner work begins with creating a space where you can feel heard, respected and free to explore at your own pace.

I see microdosing as one possible way of becoming more aware of what is happening within you, not something that needs to bring any particular outcome. My intention is to create a grounded, compassionate space where you can slow down, listen inside and be with what wants to be processed, at your own pace.
